Charlotte boasts an impressive career spanning over 18 years in Mortgage and Protection Services. Her journey commenced in 2006 at the renowned Nationwide Building Society. It was there that her passion for helping individuals secure their dream homes and financial futures began to flourish. 

Operating across the vibrant landscapes of Surrey, Sussex, and Greater London, Charlotte has earned recognition as a mortgage consultant. Her extensive knowledge of the market is matched only by her dedication to delivering outstanding results for her clients. As an expert in specialist mortgages, Charlotte has cultivated invaluable relationships with a diverse range of lenders. This extensive network ensures that her clients have access to an array of tailored solutions to meet their unique needs.

 Beyond her professional life, Charlotte is a dedicated mother to two wonderful children and a passionate traveller. Her heart belongs to Chiang Mai, where she cherishes the fondest memories of her adventures. At home, life is just as full with her husband who is an avid ultra runner, often taking on incredible endurance challenges, which brings a real sense of energy, resilience, and balance to family life. 

Harry joins The Surrey Mortgage Company with over a decade of experience in Financial Services, working for Nationwide Building Society for 15 years, which is how he came to know Charlotte. It was at Nationwide that Harry came to understand how daunting the mortgage process can feel. Harry takes pride in offering clear guidance, reliable communication, and a genuinely supportive service from start to finish. His focus is on making the complex simple and helping clients move forward with confidence, whether they are buying their first home or reviewing existing borrowing.

As the firm’s Protection Specialist, Harry is passionate about continually expanding his knowledge of providers and policy features to ensure recommendations are tailored to each client’s individual needs and circumstances. He believes protection advice should be clear, personal, and built around providing long-term peace of mind.

During his 15 years at Nationwide, Harry has worked across Sussex, Surrey, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire, resulting in extensive knowledge of the different challenges facing clients across the South, as well as amassing extensive contacts in the industry. 

Beyond his professional life, Harry grew up in West Sussex and now lives in Oxford with his husband Jack. Harry enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling through Europe - particularly Italy, and keeping fit.

Charnie is a highly valued member of the team, bringing a wealth of knowledge and a strong analytical foundation from her previous role as an analyst at Coutts, where she developed a deep understanding of financial profiling, client needs, and complex case assessment.

She is CeMAP qualified, which underpins her technical expertise and ensures she has a solid grasp of the regulatory and lending landscape. As a paraplanner, Charnie plays a crucial role behind the scenes, meticulously packaging cases to a high standard, liaising with underwriters, and proactively managing applications through to offer. Her attention to detail is exceptional, and she takes real pride in ensuring every case runs as smoothly and efficiently as possible, which ultimately enhances the overall client experience.

She is also incredibly organised and dependable, often acting as a key point of contact for updates, keeping both clients and advisers fully informed at every stage of the process. Her calm, solutions-focused approach is particularly valuable when navigating more complex scenarios, and she consistently goes above and beyond to find the best outcomes. 

Beyond her professional strengths, Charnie is also a devoted mum to her three-year-old son who loves her fitness & balancing the demands of a busy career with family life. Her ability to manage all so seamlessly is a real testament to her dedication, work ethic, and positive attitude, and she is an integral part of the continued growth and success of the business.
